Kentucky State Police searching for escaped Graves County detention facility inmate

MAYFIELD, Ky. (WDRB) - Kentucky State Police are searching for the man who escaped Friday night from the Graves County Restricted Custody Center in Mayfield.

Capus Cain Adams, 28, of Mortons Gap, was serving time for tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

KSP says he walked away from the facility and jumped over a fence to escape.

Adams was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and red and white striped jail pants. He's 6'0'' with a bald head and brown eyes.

KSP believes he could be on his way to the Mortons Gap area where he used to live.
