LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Louisville goal keeper Greg Ranjitsingh had the ball and in his mind another Louisville win.
But in an instant, a win turned into a tie. The ball was punched lose by Chris Tsonis who scored the game tying goal in the 84th minute as Charleston and Louisville played to a 1-1 draw Saturday at Slugger Field.
Tsonis shot attempt was Charleston’s first and only shot on goal the entire game. Ranjitsingh was not happy with the goal and neither was Louisville City who felt there had been illegal contact on the play.
Louisville City scored the game’s first goal in the 62nd minute when Chandler Hoffman scored off a great pass from Cameron Lancaster. It was Hoffman’s 12th of the year.
Louisville’s unbeaten streak however did move to 16 games. Louisville City hasn’t lost since an April 2nd 2-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls II.
