LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a Louisville woman authorities say operated a vehicle while under the influence of drugs.

Christina Garcia, 30, was arrested on Sunday in the area of I-65, near the Fern Valley Road off-ramp, according to police records.

The arrest report says police arrived at the scene and located a vehicle that had allegedly been operated by Garcia. Police say an infant was in the rear of the vehicle.

Authorities say other motorists had observed the vehicle "operating erratically, weaving on the roadway, driving on 3 rims, and shooting sparks." Those drivers then "boxed her in and forced her to stop."

An officer made contact with Garcia and said he believed she was under the influence. According to the report, an officer asked Garcia to take a sobriety test after she allegedly stated she had taken klonopin and lortab. Police say Garcia's speech was also very slurred.

Garcia is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and license to be in possession, which are both misdemeanors.
