LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana's governor joined officers to remember those killed in the line of duty.

Governor Mike Pence rode with cyclists on Monday morning for the 15th annual "Cops Cycling for Survivors" event.

For the first time in 30 years, Indiana did not lose an officer in the line of duty last year.

Riders will cover almost 1,000 miles across the state over the next two weeks.

The group is expected to be in Jeffersonville July 20 and 21, and then ride to Madison on July 22.
