LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police say they arrested two Chicago men Sunday afternoon after they were caught in a truck with a flashing "emergency" light.

According to arrest reports, police got a call from a motorist who said there was a vehicle on Kentucky Route 9002, in Hardin County, that was displaying a flashing white light in order to get other vehicles to pull over and get out of the way.

Police say they found the vehicle -- a 1997 white Chevrolet C/K 1500 pickup truck -- traveling eastbound on Kentucky Route 9002. When they stopped the truck, police allegedly smelled the strong odor of alcohol and marijuana coming from the cab.

Police say the truck was driven by Jason Delgado-Enrique, and Missael Coello-Eduardo was a passenger. According to the arrest reports, officers found a "white emergency light mounted to the front of the windshield."

Delgado-Enrique allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking a few beers earlier in the day -- and police say they found empty beer cans and marijuana residue inside the truck.

Both men were arrested and charged with impersonating a public servant, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Delgado-Enrique was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, failure to produce an insurance card, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and improper equipment. Coello-Eduardo is charged with public intoxication by a controlled substance.
