LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- We are getting a clearer picture of who will be speaking at next week's Republican National Convention.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell now says he is on tap to speak. McConnell is endorsing presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, but has also repeatedly criticized him.

Other expected speakers include Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Joni Ernst. Trump and his eventual running mate will also address the convention.

Trump's candidacy is polarizing Republicans. Several party leaders, including both former President George H. W. Bush, former President George W. Bush, and Florida Senator Marco Rubio, have said they will not be attending or speaking at the convention.
