LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Forecastle Festival is back this weekend, and organizers expect north of 65,000 people to converge on Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville.
The three-day festival features acts like The Avett Brothers, Bully, Alabama Shakes, Death Cab for Cutie and Ghostland Observatory. Click here for the full lineup of acts.
You can still buy tickets here, but for those of you counting the hours already, here are a few tips to rage properly.
What should you bring?
The fine folks in the WDRB weather department are forecasting a slight rain chance Friday, but besides that, the weekend is just going to be hot. So pack some sunscreen. Forecastle allows blankets, towels and sheets so that you can grab your spot in front of your favorite stage. With that sun beating down all day, it might be smart to bring some water. Forecastle will allow an empty water bottle to fill once you're inside, as well as one sealed bottle of water. Selfie sticks are allowed for all you Snapchatting millennials, but they must not extend more than 40 inches. And you'll obviously need a bag in which to store all of those things. For the allowed dimensions, click here.
What can't you bring?
- Any sort of food or drink, including alcohol
- Lawn chairs

The gates open at 2 p.m. Friday, and noon on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be many food and drink vendors surrounding the stage. See them here in the official Forecastle map:
