Magic of Harry Potter visits Louisville Free Public Library

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The wizarding world of Harry Potter is right here in Louisville.

You can take a stroll through Diagon Alley at Louisville's Free Public Library Main Branch on York Street.

It's part of the library's summer reading program "Reading is Magical."

Next week, the library will host a book release party for the newest Harry Potter.

Library workers say even muggles are invited to join the fun.

"It really is a time for celebration for us. To celebrate books and loving books and loving reading. We hope everybody will come out and party with us and I don't think they'll be disappointed," said Youth Programs Coordinator Tracy Thomas.

The Louisville Science Center will be brewing potions and the Zoo is bringing animals.

You can join the magic July 30 at 8 p.m.
