CLEVELAND (WDRB) -- Donald Trump arrived in Cleveland with a dramatic entrance Wednesday for the Republican National Convention.

The presidential candidate flew in on his helicopter then was greeted by his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

Trump thanked the crowd for being there and congratulated some of his children on their speeches Tuesday night.

Pence aimed at getting the crowd excited.

"It is such an honor to join your family to welcome you to Cleveland," Gov. Pence said. "We're excited to hear you address the nation tomorrow night. It's been exciting to hear your family and more to come tonight. And I'm convinced, what begins in Cleveland, will end in the White House."

The lineup of speakers tonight includes Trump's son Eric, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and of course, Pence.

Trump will speak Thursday.
