LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a Kentucky prison.

Kentucky State Police say 45-year-old Clyde Dewayne Rader escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington Monday morning.

Police say he was serving time for charges related to receiving stolen property, robbery and burglary.

Officials say he's from Mayfield, which is located in Graves County.

A Kentucky State Police spokesperson tells WDRB that Rader escaped from Blackburn several years ago.

Investigators say Rader is a white male and is 6 feet tall. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Police say he also has a tattoo of a demon fairy on his chest.

Anyone with information about Rader's whereabouts is asked to call your local law enforcement agency, 911, Blackburn Correctional Complex at 859-246-2366 or Kentucky State Police at 502-227-2221.
