5 Kentucky State Parks set for $3 million worth of renovations

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Five Kentucky State Park resorts will soon get $3 million worth of renovations.

The funding was approved this year by state lawmakers and Gov. Matt Bevin.

General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton will see lodge and conference center painting and electrical repairs.

Carter Caves, Greenbo Lake, Natural Bridge and Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Parks will also get money for repairs.

Improvements will be made over the next two years.
