Kentucky delegates preparing for exciting night at DNC

PHILADELPHIA (WDRB) -- Kentucky delegates say they're excited about the last night of the Democratic National Convention.

It's a big night for the party, as Hillary Clinton is expected to formally accept the nomination for president.

"I'm expecting her to outline her plan for America and how she plans to lead us forward in a progressive agenda," said Betty Pendergrass, a Kentucky delegate."

Former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear says the Bernie Sanders supporters are coming together with the rest of the party.

"The Bernie Sanders movement is coming aboard," Beshear said. "I am happy that they were involved and excited and debated. That is how Democrats are. We fight and scratch and carry on, and at the end of the day, we all come together, because we know that this country has got to continue moving forward, and we are going to unite and do that."

Chelsea Clinton is expected to introduce her mother on stage.
