LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's the first time Indiana Governor Mike Pence has been back in the Hoosier state since he joined the Trump campaign.

He led the first leg of the Governor's Ride this morning in Indianapolis to benefit Indiana's National Guard. Pence says he's proud to ride with those who serve the public.

"Would you join me in thanking all those who stand on the thin blue line of law enforcement and make sure they know we appreciate them and we are grateful for them?" Pence asked the crowd.

The rally traveled from Indianapolis to Corydon, Indiana.
