LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Bullitt East senior Lindsey Duvall, a former Kentucky commit, told WDRB Saturday she has committed to play for the Louisville women's basketball team.

Her AAU team announced her decision with a tweet Saturday. Duvall told WDRB she is very happy to be a Cardinal.

“I really liked that it is close to home,” she said. “I like the coaches and the players. They were fun to be around.”

The 5-10 point guard decommitted from Kentucky back in May after watching the program go through a very turbulent offseason.

Duvall is ranked 23rd overall by ESPN in the class of 2017. Basketball, however is only part of her story.  WDRB profiled Duvall back in February after she returned to Bullitt East following surgery to remove a tumor in her left knee. Duvall still managed to average nearly 19 points a game.
