LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Police officer dangles from a suspect's car as it takes off before crashing.

Terrell Gray, 22, is charged with wanton endangerment of two police officers.

Around 2:30 Sunday morning the officers heard gunshots coming from a bank parking lot near 26th and Broadway.

According to an arrest report they located Gray in his car and immediately smelled the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

Gray then began to reach for something under his seat despite being told to stop.

Officers attempted to control the subject, who sped away with one of the officers partially inside the car.

The officer was able to pull himself inside the car and taze Gray as he crashed into another vehicle.

Gray was also charged with possession of a gun by a convicted felon and trafficking marijuana.
