ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WDRB) -- A local business owner posted a video on Facebook of a woman being rescued from her car by a group of locals during Maryland flooding, the Associated Press and Daily Mail report.

The woman can be seen attempting to drive through fast flowing water and steer her car to safety, but is almost swept away until someone off camera screams at her to get out of the vehicle.

She was rescued by at least four people who joined hands to form a chain to rescue the woman, who crawls out of her passenger side window to reach her rescuers.

Daily Mail reports that the woman has not been identified.

The business owner's husband shot the video while also holding onto the chain of individuals.

One of the rescuers can be shown almost slipping away from the chain, but manages to hold on.
