LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Hardin County teens are facing felony charges after police say they tried to kill an Elizabethtown woman.

According to arrest reports, the incident took place on Sunday, July 31, just after 11:30 p.m., at a home on Colonial Drive, near N. Miles Street, in Elizabethtown.

Elizabethtown Police say they were called to the home after reports that shots had been fired. According to the arrest report, when they arrived, the homeowner told them that four white men fired shots into her home.

Police eventually arrested 18-year-old Jacob Parrett and 18-year-old Jonathon Nickerson. According to the reports, both men admitted that they, along with two others, went to the home to get drug money from a man they said owed it to them.

Parrett and Nickerson allegedly told police that one of the men they were with fired shots into the house after the woman inside refused to let them in or tell them the location of the man who owed them money.

Police say they found two bullet holes in the home -- one in the front window and one in the back wall of the kitchen.

Both Parrett and Nickerson are charged with attempted murder and are being held in the Hardin County Detention Center.
