Guns N' Roses Slash surprises kid performers in "School of Rock"
The reaction from the young rockers to having a rock star on stage with them.
NEW YORK CITY, NY (WDRB) -- This is a lesson that kids in the "School of Rock" will never forget.
Slash from Guns N' Roses surprised the young cast of the Broadway musical this week. He took a break from the band's New York City dates to join the young performers on stage, as they rehearsed "Sweet Child o' Mine."
The kids had no idea the guitar master was joining them on stage for rehearsal. Singer Bobbi MacKenzie nailed the vocals on the GN'R classic, as guitarist Brandon Niederauer shredded the familiar riffs with one of his heroes.
Slash stuck around to play "Paradise City" later posing for pictures and signing autographs for the cast.
