LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville judge temporarily removed from the bench is getting some national support.

Judge Olu Stevens will go before Kentucky's judicial commission Monday.

At issue is comments Stevens made to victims regarding race and social media posts that claimed Commonwealth Attorney Tom Wine wanted "all white juries."

The NAACP issued a statement Tuesday in support of Stevens.

In part, the statement said Stevens' public statements "emphasized the critical importance of ensuring racial diversity on jury panels in criminal cases involving African-American defendants."
