UPDATE | Victim identified in PRP homicide

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was found dead Wednesday night in Pleasure Ridge Park.

LMPD responded to the 9600 block of Inca Drive off of Johnsontown Road near the Greenbelt Highway in southwest PRP.

They found Anthony Joseph Clemente, 25, in a Chevy Malibu.

Officials say Clemente lived in New Albany.

It was quite a shock for a neighbor who wandered out of his house to discover the body.

"I told my wife I was going to go out there and look and see if I could see anything," the witness said. "So the windows cracked about this far, and I looked in and I seen blood on his face, and he was slumped over."

He told WDRB News the car had been parked on the street all day.

It was fifth murder in Louisville in five days.

Anyone with information is asked to call the LMPD crime tipline at 502-574-LMPD (574-5673). Callers can remain anonymous.
