Overturned cattle truck caused big delays on I-71 in Henryville
Seven of those cows were killed in the crash. No humans were injured in the incident.
CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. (WDRB) -- An overturned cattle truck caused backups on southbound Interstate 71 in Henry County for several hours today.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. near the 38 mile marker. According to Shelly Meredith Clark with Kentucky State Police, there were a total of 116 cows in the trailer.
Seven of those cows were killed in the crash.
All lanes are now open.
State troopers spent most of the morning and part of the afternoon helping round up the cattle.
No humans were injured in the incident.
