LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new sign honoring a fallen Glendale volunteer firefighter is expected to be unveiled on Saturday night.

Jonathan French was killed two years ago, while responding to a vehicle fire on I-65 south.

A tractor trailer collided with fire trucks on the side of the interstate at the 87 mile marker. French was pronounced dead at the scene.

Family and friends will be holding a memorial for French to unveil the new sign.  The memorial is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in the annex parking lot at Glendale Christian Church.

Anyone is invited to attend.
