LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officials have released the name of a man killed in a crash that happened Sunday morning at Eastern Parkway and Baxter Avenue.

The victim was 23-year-old Charles Warren, according to Deputy Coroner Bob Jones. The cause of death was multiple injuries.

A call about the accident was received Sunday at 3:50 a.m.

Authorities say the crash involved a motorcycle and Chevy Malibu.

Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Dwight Mitchell says Warren was going westbound on Eastern Parkway when he drifted over into the eastbound lane and was hit by a Chevy Malibu. He was then pinned underneath the car.

Warren was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:15 a.m., according to Jones.

No other injuries were reported. Authorities are not ruling out alcohol or any other factors at this point.

LMPD's Traffic Unit is continuing to investigate the crash.
