LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have released the name of a man who was killed in a crash that happened Monday afternoon on I-65 North in Hardin County.

The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Andrew Graley of Pekin, Indiana, according to Kentucky State Police.

At around 1:40 p.m., troopers responded to a call of a two-vehicle accident at the 86 mile marker on I-65 just east of Glendale.

Traffic was blocked between mile points 85 and 86, according to a KSP dispatcher.

Police say a woman was driving north on I-65 in a 1991 Toyota Camry. Officials say she was "partially in the shoulder and partially in the right lane."

State Police say Graley was driving a 2014 Freightliner Semi-Tractor and was also going north on I-65 when he struck the Toyota in the rear left side.

Authorities say both Graley and the woman lost control of their vehicles and left the roadway.

Police say Graley was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner's Office. The woman was taken to U of L Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Kentucky State Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
