In court this morning, jurors heard a recording of a phone call from Metro Corrections.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's day four in the trial of a man accused of murdering a transgender victim.
Henry Gleaves is accused of shooting and killing Sherman Edwards at the Fern Valley hotel in January of last year. Gleaves allegedly shot Edwards after paying for sex without knowing Edwards was a man.
In court this morning, jurors heard a phone call recorded from Metro Corrections.
In that call, Gleaves is heard telling someone to destroy a cell phone he was carrying that night because it "had bad stuff on it."
Prosecutors are still presenting their case.
