Man charged with murder of former U of L cheerleader pleads not guilty

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused of leaving the scene of an accident that killed a former U of L cheerleader is now charged with murder.

Bradley Caraway returned to court this morning to face charges of murder in the death of 25-year-old Shanae Moorman.

Police say he was driving early Saturday morning when he crashed on the ramp from I-64 East to the Gene Snyder Freeway. 

Moorman, a passenger in his car, died in the wreck.

Officers say they found Caraway wandering two miles from the crash scene, and he was was already charged with leaving the scene.
