LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man who admitted to killing an Austin, Indiana shop owner is sentenced to 85 years in prison.

Matt Caudill, age 22, pleaded guilty to shooting 79-year-old John Turner in the head last November. Police say it happened inside Turner's coin and jewelry shop.

Prosecutors say Caudill and his girlfriend, Ginger Cox, visited the shop three times that day. During the last visit, his girlfriend waited in the van while Caudill killed Turner and stole cash and other items from the store.

His girlfriend was sentenced to 35 years.
