LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The sky's the limit for a once-homeless veteran who is now making her dreams a reality as she helps women feel like celebrities.

RaeShanda Johnson’s pop-up shop, All is Fair in Love and Fashion, is at the Oxmoor Center mall from Aug. 8-14.

She has dresses, jewelry, shoes and everything in between to make a woman feel like a million bucks.

“I have a rule for my week here. If you try on something, you have to model it, so I'm turning everyone into models,” Johnson said. "It's been fun."

When she opened for the first day on Monday, she said people were lined up outside her door. So far, she’s had customers from Cincinnati, Lexington, Versailles, Radcliff and of course, Louisville.

In 2013, she started an online boutique as a personal stylist, then last year opened up an office in a downtown Louisville high rise. Now, she's taking her talents to Oxmoor mall for the week long pop-up shop.

“It's surreal, because I never imagined being in a mall,” Johnson said.

Oxmoor has been allowing local businesses to pop up for about a year.

“(They can) be exposed to our proven traffic levels, which in turn gets them a lot of exposure to support their business growth,” said Oxmoor Center General Manager Kendall Merrick.

But getting to this point for Johnson didn't come easy. She's an Army veteran, and at one point, found herself homeless with four children.

“In the bathroom, I remember saying, ‘God, you're going to have to fix it, because I'm not going to be able to it,’" Johnson said.

With His help and hard work, the thriving entrepreneur said she continues to achieve her dreams.

“I call it favor. I never thought it would happen, and it did,” she said.

The pop-up shop is open until Sunday at 6 p.m.
