LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Passengers aboard a commercial airliner got an impromptu concert last week when a traveling university choir was asked to perform for them on the spot.

According to the choir's Facebook page, members of the Lee University Campus Choir were together on the plane when the flight attendant asked them to perform for the passengers. Video posted on the choir's Facebook page captured what happened. The choir began singing an acapella version of "I Love You Lord," a Christian praise and worship chorus made popular in the 1990s.

Several people in the video can be seen holding their cell phones up.

According to Facebook, the video has been viewed over 126,000 times.

The choir was on its way to perform in the British Virgin Islands.

Lee University is an evangelical Christian college based in Cleveland, Tennessee.
