Authorities identify man killed by train near Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center
It happened Saturday at around 4:30 p.m., near the intersection of Crittenden Drive and Maylawn Avenue.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have identified a man who was hit and killed by a train near the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center over the weekend.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, that man has been identified as 46-year-old Michael E. Dunlap, who was pronounced dead at 4:40 p.m. Saturday. The cause of death is listed as "blunt and sharp force injuries."
It happened Saturday at around 4:30 p.m., near the intersection of Crittenden Drive and Maylawn Avenue. Dunlap was struck by a CSX train and pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials do not believe there was any foul play in the accident.
