Meeting planned Monday to discuss changes at New Albany intersection

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Neighbors fighting changes to a busy New Albany intersection can have their questions answered on Monday night.

The issue is over a four-way stop at Mt. Tabor Road and Klerner Lane.

The city's $6.5 million plan would add a stoplight, sidewalk and widen the road, but that means taking parts of neighbors yards.

The city says the changes would improve safety and drainage.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help located at 1752 Scheller Lane.

City officials and engineering consultants for the project will answer questions and concerns.
