Authorities say Steven Michael Rose, 44, received the sentence on Monday.
MOREHEAD, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Morehead, Ky., man has received a 35-year federal prison sentence for engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a minor under the age of 12.
This is according to a release from the United States Attorney's Office.
Steven Michael Rose, 44, was given the sentence on Monday.
According to federal law, Rose is required to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence. Upon release, Rose will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for 15 years.
Officials say Rose pleaded guilty in April, admitting that "he coerced the minor to engage in sexually (explicit) conduct with him." Authorities say Rose recorded the incident on his cell phone.
