LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have identified the body of a man that was found inside a large truck toolbox floating in Spring Fork Creek in Grayson County, Kentucky, earlier this month.

According to a news release from the Grayson County Coroner's Office, the body has been identified as 29-year-old Tromain Jerome Mackall, a native of Prince Fredrick, Maryland.

Authorities say his last known address was Barnett Creek Road in Hartford, Kentucky, located in Ohio County.

Mackall was reported missing on July 24.

"The cause of death is multi-modal asphyxia and ruled to be a homicide," the news release states. "The Kentucky State Police and the Ohio County Sheriff Dept. are conducting the homicide investigation."
