McDonald's recalls millions of fitness bands
More than 70 incidents have been reported after kids have worn McDonald's fitness tracker.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It was a fast-food chain's attempt to help keep kids healthy.
But now, more than 70 incidents have been reported after kids have worn McDonald's fitness tracker.
The fast-food chain recalled more than 29 million "Step-It Fitness" bands from its Happy Meals.
It's because they can cause skin irritation and burns on kids.
"Step-It Fitness" bands look like watches and are supposed to track physical activity.
There are also seven reports of children getting blisters.
