UPDATE: LMPD investigating fatal shooting in Shelby Park neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - A man was shot and killed at a home Tuesday night in the Shelby Park neighborhood.

LMPD was called to the 600 block of Camp Street near South Hancock Street. That's near the entrance to Shelby Park.

When they arrived, officers found a white male in his 20s who had been shot on the front porch of his home. The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. He later died.

The victim has not been identified.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. There are no suspects at this time. Police plan to release more information after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
