LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Court documents show an informant alerted the Bullitt County Drug Task Force that two men would be in a hotel parking lot on east Jefferson Street Sunday night.
The informant said they would have three kilos of cocaine in a black duffel bag.
Investigators say they stopped both men and about three kilos of drugs in the bag tested positive for cocaine. J. Cid Alvaro and Jose Guzman Junior, both from New York, are now behind bars at the Oldham County jail which houses federal inmates.
The cocaine has an estimated street value of $300,000. Investigators say they also found more than $5,000 in cash.
