LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The skeletal remains of a missing Louisville woman have been located.

This is according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Jim Wesley.

On Tuesday, the remains of 59-year-old Adriane Koch were found in a small wooded field, located at Old Lagrange Road and Ormsby Lane, according to Wesley.

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday on the remains and Koch was identified.

The remains were found by employees of a landscaping company. Authorities say the workers had been cutting grass in the field.

Officers with LMPD's Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit went to the scene.

Koch was reported missing on July 7. The preliminary autopsy results have not revealed an immediate cause of death.

Officials say further studies will be conducted.
