Bulk items, Rolex watches and TVs will soon be for sale at Louisville's second Costco store.

“We do try to get some higher-end exciting items for the grand opening,” said Costco Warehouse Manager James Harmon.

You can find brands like Samsung, Apple, Ugg, UnderArmour, Spyder, North Face, Yeti, Tumi, LG and TOMS.

There are only workers on the floor Thursday and Friday, but this weekend shoppers will fill the aisles and fill their carts.

“We do have some things to tighten up," Harmon said. "We will finish everything by today. We should be ready by [Friday]. Our fresh department still needs to get finished up, because everything has a short shelf life.”

The Costco has hired 180 new employees, but Harmon said they're still hiring.

The new store is in the old Showcase Cinemas location at 3408 Bardstown Rd.  The lot has been vacant for years.

"We are going to help revitalize the area,” Harmon said. “We do become a destination. Certainly, the businesses in the neighborhood would benefit from our location.”

Costco is members-only. More than 100 workers have been visiting local neighborhoods to help people sign up.

You can sign up for a membership here at Costco or online. There will be a ribbon cutting at 8 a.m. Saturday.
