LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Breckinridge County teacher is still sizzling on MasterChef.

On Wednesday night, Brandi Mudd scored high praise from Chef Gordon Ramsey as contestants had to show their potato proficiency.

Ramsey: "How many times a week to you make fries at home?

Mudd: At least once a week. My kids love french fries in any way, shape or form. They don't care what they look like, though.

Ramsey: Very consistent knife cuts. The crunch on the outside ... that is just utter perfection. Great job.

Mudd: Thank you, chef."

The 5th Grade teacher at Irvington Elementary School is now one of the final lucky seven.

By the way, Ramsey asked the contestant eliminated Wednesday night who he thinks the next Master Chef will be, and he said it'd be Mudd.
