Human leg washes up along Ohio River
An employee at a southern Indiana power plant makes a disturbing discovery in the Ohio River.
MADISON, Ind. (WDRB) – An employee at a southern Indiana power plant makes a disturbing discovery in the Ohio River.
According to Jefferson County Coroner Johnny Collins, an employee at Indiana-Kentucky Electric in Madison found a human leg around 9 a.m. Friday near the edge of the water.
Collins says the leg had on a shoe and a sock.
An anthropologist at the University of Indianapolis will work to determine the gender, how long the leg was in the water, and any other information.
