Police arrest suspect in juvenile's murder in Scott County, Kentucky
According to a release from Kentucky State Police, 27-year-old Michael Davidson is charged with murder.
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a suspect in the death of a juvenile in Scott County, Kentucky.
According to a release from Kentucky State Police, 27-year-old Michael Davidson is charged with murder. Investigators say the Georgetown man allegedly fired a weapon into a home, causing the juvenile's death.
On Saturday around 4:45 a.m., deputies with the Scott County Sheriff's Office went to a home on a report a shooting. Officials say when officers arrived, a juvenile was found dead inside the home of an apparent gunshot wound.
Authorities say a caller to 911 provided a description of the suspect's vehicle that was leaving the scene.
Police in Georgetown located the suspect's vehicle and tried to make a traffic stop. A police chase happened and the suspect was arrested at the Capital Mobile Home Park in Franklin County.
Officials have not released the juvenile's name.
Authorities say additional charges against Davidson are expected.
