UPDATE: Coroner releases name of Louisville man who died at Lake Cumberland State Dock

JAMESTOWN, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Russell County coroner has released the name of a Louisville man who died at the Lake Cumberland State Dock.

The coroner says the man was 64-year-old Gary Michael Burnett. Officials say the cause of death was blunt force trauma caused by contact with a boat propeller.

According to a release from the Coroner's Office, Burnett fell into the water, striking an operating boat propeller. It happened Saturday around 10:27 p.m. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.

An autopsy was completed at the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort.
