LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Forget being able to fly, time travel, or become invisible. These local kids know what true superpowers are.

"Your talent plus your heart makes your superpower," Kennedi Posey said.

Global Game Changers and the Muhammad Ali Center invited kids and their families to discover their superpowers Sunday.

Along with fun activities like making capes, organizers hope to inspire youngsters and teach them how they can make a difference in the world with their unique talents.

"We want every child no matter who they are, no matter where they come from, to know that they're important to our community and that it's really important for them to be empowered to do good in the community," Global Game Changers Co-Founder Jan Helson said.

Topics like arts, the environment, hunger, and poverty were talked about to help the kids figure out how to put their power to action.
