LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LG&E crews spent most of Monday afternoon working to restore electricity at Iroquois High School.

According to JCPS spokeswoman Jennifer Brislin, parts of the school lost electricity after a suspected power surge Monday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, the school's air-conditioning system stopped working; we're told it was repaired by 8:30 a.m., but according to WDRB Education Reporter Toni Konz teachers and students were complaining that it was still hot and miserable inside the classrooms.
