Four new LMPD officers take the oath

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Four more officers have taken the oath to protect and serve Louisville.

Dustin Clem, Dwaine Durrett, Andrew Streble and Jeremy Wright were sworn in Friday morning. They're part of the 35th Metro Academy class.

LMPD Chief of police says when he put the call out for new officers, he was unsure of response he'd get.

"We had no idea what we would get, and we were so lucky to have these four men step up, to come and accept this challenge," Chief Conrad said.

All four of the men were already serving as officers at other departments.
