LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Louisville starting quarterback Lamar Jackson is getting rewarded for his efforts from U of L's win over Charlotte Thursday.
On Sunday, Jackson was honored as the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
Jackson scored a school record eight touchdowns, all in the first half, as Louisville beat the 49ers 70-14. Jackson finished the game 17-of-23 passes for 286 yards passing. He also rushed 119 yards.
The 19th ranked Louisville Cardinals (1-0) are back in action Friday at Syracuse (1-0).
