LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The world's largest collector car auction is coming to Louisville.

Approximately 1,000 muscle, classic, Corvette and hot rod cars will be at the Kentucky Exposition Center Thursday through Saturday. It's called Mecum Auctions and it's open to bidders, dealers and spectators.

"You can just come to spectate which is $30 for general admission, or you can just come to be a bidder," said Joe Boyle of Mecum Auctions. "If you want to, just come and bid on the cars, to the memorabilia, to the motorcycles to anything else that might be coming across the auction block, and that's $200 on-site."

The auction starts at 10:30 Thursday morning and 8:30 on Friday and Saturday mornings.
