LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – The Indiana Hoosiers defense forced two turnovers and had to hold off a late Ball State rally as IU (2-0) beat Ball State (1-1) in Bloomington on Saturday.

Indiana receiver Simmie Cobb, Jr went down with an injury early, but receiver Nick Westbrook stepped up with touchdown catches of 43 yards and and 81 yards from quarterback Richard Lagow.

Lagow was 17 of 28 for 266 yards and three touchdowns in his Memorial Stadium debut. Divine Redding rushed for 110 yards on 26 carries.

Indiana has a bye week next week before hosting Wake Forest on the 24th.
