LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A high tech company is bringing dozens of jobs to southern Indiana.

American Air Filter officially opened its Jeffersonville facility Monday on Patrol Road. It makes clean air products and systems.

The company, which is headquartered in Louisville, plans to create up to 35 new jobs in Jeffersonville by 2018.

"We work hard to reduce the costs of providing that clean air to allow people to have access to better products and reduce the carbon footprint of manufacturing facilities around the country," said Philip Whitaker with American Air Filter.

The new research center in Jeffersonville will develop new clean air technologies to be used around the world.

American Air Filter operates in 22 countries.
