Louisville-based American Air Filter opens location in Jeffersonville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A high-tech company is bringing dozens of jobs to southern Indiana.
American Air Filter opened yesterday on Patrol Road in Jeffersonville. It makes clean air products and systems. The company is headquartered in Louisville and plans to create up to 35 new jobs in Jeffersonville by 2018.
"We're working hard to reduce the costs of providing that clean air to allow people to have access to better products and reduce the carbon footprint of manufacturing facilities around the country," said American Air Filter CEO Philip Whitaker.
The new facility will develop clean air technologies to be used around the world. American Air Filter operates in 22 countries.
